A designer fascinated by the graphic force of lace and the visual intensity of black and white

A graduate of the Duperré School of Applied Arts (Paris), the fashion designer Farid Moula did his basic training in the Haute Couture design studio of Serge Lepage (Schiaparelli), before devoting himself definitively to luxury ready-to-wear for women. In 2002, he created his own brand, Eden Rose, and opened his first Parisian fashion shop. It was an immediate success. Displayed in the windows of Moscow, Athens, New York or Tokyo, the models by Eden Rose provide thousands of women with elegant clothing around the world.

A great traveller and a cosmopolitan individual, Farid Moula is a permanent explorer of the arts of the “body finery”, in a series of intense and sensual visuals of black and white, a positive-negative style full of bold innovations and classicism, to which he gave a new dimension by using convoluted decorative tattoo effects in the lingerie style, as well as superimposed floral patterns, and a subtle play on the plenums and vacuums, the visible and the invisible… In short, a very individual way to put on “style” and elegance to the foreground again.

"Is there something more fascinating or more elegant than two pieces of embroidered lace unveiling the silkiness of a prettily suntanned shoulder blade ? Of course I am fascinated by lace ! It offers infinite options. I want to pursue to the limit my graphic explorations with this material, and accentuate more than ever its contrast and texture effects. And it is my goal and my concern to be able to provide a soft, comfortable and light clothe, which fits like a second skin."
